Picture vomit?

Now that Matt's seen the dress I guess it's safe to be vain and post more pictures. ;)
(That and I got a badrillion requests from people to post them on facebook so I'm just kinda killing two birds with one stone. Right? Except for not really because I have to upload them twice.... clearly wisdom and waxing philosophical hasn't found me yet.)

So we're hitched

And we still feel twitterpated, and I think he's still gonna keep me (despite moving stress and girl emotions). So good news! We're on a roll I think!
The wedding day was surreal (which is normal I assume?) but beautiful! I love temples! I'm so grateful for temples and for the knowledge we have of eternal families. Heavenly Father is a genius.
There was still construction on the temple and I was bummed for a minute, but I think I'm over it now. (Thanks Andrea for the pick me up advice from your sister. :p) The reception was BEAUTIFUL! Seriously, the ladies (and gents) that put it together amid all the chaos are superpeople!
We went to this cute cabin that I have no documentation of because I must have been all cloud 9 ish and left my camera with my family. But it was cute! Not having to plan or work or stress for a few days was pretty much beautiful. I love being a bum! :p There was this really cute pond/lake(/glorified puddle?) right behind our cabin so we went for walks to sit by it, and took lots of movies so we could recoup before the open house! :p
This weekend, everything was beautiful too. I forgot that I picked such beautiful decorations. ;) But seriously, the Callister's did an amazing job on the ceilings and the tables and candy buffet turned out soo cute! I loved it! There have been so many people who have come to support us, and we really have been overwhelmed with how giving and wonderful everyone has been! So thank you!

In other news, married wards are kinda weird but mostly great, and our apartment is finally looking like we live here instead of a natural disaster zone! (Not like we even own enough stuff to make moving in that complicated, but figuring out where to put everything can be interesting :p)
Our kitchen is very cute and very yellow and teal! And ya know that Paula Deen cooking set I've been drooling over for two years? Well we own it! People are my best friends. Our pantry is pretty stocked, JUST from the two bridal showers (Thank you aunts!) so we haven't had to worry about grocery shopping while we move in and get settled. :) Eventually when I find my camera, you will see the cuteness. But until then, I can tell you that I love my closet, and it's been nice to have a second bedroom to store things in! We're spoiled, we even have a dishwasher!

I feel like this post has been a weird informative one... but I'm sure there will be more entertaining things to tell sooner or later! Matt's on an ambassador retreat today until Wednesday and so I'm just being a bum at my parent's house doing our laundry since ours still isn't hooked up. (Oh, adventure four, our washer hose leaked all night our first night in the apartment. The linoleum had a seam in it right where the washer was and so it got up under it, and long story short we still have a little fan on the ugly floor under the ripped up linoleum and our washer and dryer are keeping the middle of the kitchen occupied. :p Hence bumming the laundry room from my mama.) But either way... Summer's basically over and life's just getting started! Kind of exciting, right? Of course right. :)
Now home to fold. (Super excited face.)
Pictures next time! Promise! I hope!

T MINUS 4 DAYS!!!!!!!!! :D :D

Well hello there internet. Let me just thought barf my excitement via seventeen million exclamation points and all caps and a few obnoxious smiley faces. ;)

But really. FOUR MORE DAYS!!! Holy. Macarel. Times ten. :)
This weekend I was in Eagle Mountain with Matt's family for another Bridal shower, (Which, P.S the Cedar one was so much fun and I loved it and there really was magic, thanks to my now officially professional aunts who throw killer parties. They've offered to be rented out, too, so if you need any showers anytime soon... ;) ) and it was so much fun! We've been so grateful for all the support and love from our families, and for all the help we've been given with wedding planning and helping us stock our kitchen. Those of you that know Matt know what a big deal that is for us. ;) We enjoy our food, basically. A stocked pantry right off the bat? Yes please! The women in Matt's family (and men too, but they're excluded from the bridal shower bragging) are so wonderful. I seriously had so much fun listening to their stories and visiting with everyone. You're all so cute! Also, we played a game where the stories that I posted last time, about how we met and our first date, were turned into madlibs. We had a colorful tongue depressor stick thing with different adjectives that we passed around and when Heather got to a blank, the next person would read the next word on it. Definitely a giggle starter. :) ("When I saw a dirty boy with a finicky suit and hilarious tie walk in"? Oh my. :) Good stuff right there.)
After the shower, Matt and I had the opportunity to go to the temple together. Did you know that I sort of love that? Temple+best friend=awesome experience. :) When we pulled into the parking lot he put the car in park but left it running.
"I have a wedding present for you." I'm thinking I get to marry him, and he gets to take care of me... so isn't that a pretty big wedding present? :p
"Ok?"
"I kinda want to give it to you right now." Stinkin adorable grin. How can I say anything but yes to that face? Really?
Long story short, Matt knew that I ran out of journal a while ago but didn't run out of journaling and so I've been writing on the inside of Bryce Canyon post card bags mostly this summer. Occasionally 3x5 cards. So he got me an awesome leather journal ('that stays open, no matter what page you turn it to!' ;) he's funny) and a new set of scriptures with my new last name on them. :) (Weird! Exciting! FOUR DAYS!) I love this man. I'm pretty excited that I get to keep him. :)
After the temple we went on a date (squeal of excitement) and then went back to his house to watch a movie with the littles.
It's been so fun to hang out more with Matt's family, his little brothers and sisters are so fun to be around. Kennedy's been my hugging buddy/ cute tag-along since Mallorie's wedding and I love it! She's hilarious. :)

Anywho. Traditionally, picture barf follows thought barf. And when I went to upload the scripture/journal pictures and the shower pictures I discovered all my Yellowstone pictures. Which I'm pretty sure I never blogged. So buckle up. ;)

Pretend my pictures of wildlife are as good as everyone
else's with really cool camera's. :p

We're in love. Obviously.

Sorry James and Miranda, we totally look like creepers
with how many pictures of Truly we have. :) The
camera loves her!! :)

Cutest little girl ever!

We enjoy stickers :) (Seriously though, Megan had the
cutest sticker sheet in our car!

Beautiful people! ;)

We're dorks. What can we say?

This was right after our moment of tourist glory. Running
(literally) down the side of the road right in step with the
Asians and Europeans trying to get pictures of these
HUGE elk! :p

Photo bombing at it's best. ;)

One of the highlights of the trip was watching our guys
play basketball. We've got some great players in the family!

Fan section? :) (lucky boys, eh?)

Brian and Beans were pretty funny to watch. :)

Oh yes. We're getting married. :p :)

The rafting adventure left it's mark for sure.

Can you tell that it's swollen a little? Because we were all
pretty sore on the ride home. And maybe a little grumpy too. ;)
Ok, this is just random in Red Canyon. I just am in
love with the contrast of colors. :)

Ok so we're creepers of all children. Lori, Aaron and their
cute little cabbage patch came to Tropic. We pretty much
adore them. :D

Before our field day. Which Erin sluffed.
(But really, this is just documentation that we actually
know how to get ready sometimes.)

And that we worked at Bryce. (Past tense. EEK! :D)

(She's gonna kill me.)

We're a close family. :)

Shower muffins!

I know. Pure. Magic. :)

Cute!! Right?

P.S this is Kristen. She's my roommate from this
last semester who drove down from
South Jordan just for the shower! She's kind of
amazing. :)

Ok. So I really did cheat on only one, which is why
it was so funny that after I admitted that on the features
question, it seemed pretty sketchy when i got the rest of
the answers (minus like two) basically verbatim.

There may or may not have been a few Halloween prizes.
Oh the irony. :)

Remember how I think Enoch is the
cutest little red head I know?
He also knows how to play chess and
helped Matt explain it to me. :)

I know. Weird. :) :)
Also, within the last hour of leaving the blog post, we got a little bit of rain....
(I'm not sure I'm mature enough to pretend I'm entering
the world of adulthood.)

:) :)

But seriously. Where's the ark?
