Colors and Hughes, ladies and gents!

Hey guys! So my house is clean, my test is done, and I'm packed for spring break! Which means I finally have time to blog again! I'm a slow poke on this one, but my friend Carmina Huges is starting a business with her hubby and brother in law, so I wanted to help her spread the word with a guest post. :) Carmina seriously is the best person to be around! She's so bubbly and happy that you can't help but be bubbly and happy too! And you should follow her blog, because she has the greatest voice and writing style. :) Plus she does tons of fun giveaways and tutorials. So, here it is! Hello there! I'm Carmina Hughes from the Colors and Hughes blog!

I am so excited to be guest posting here on Shannon's blog! Shannon and I met while we were in Ephraim studying at Snow College. We both lived in the same apartment complex (woot Pinetree II!) and so by default we were in the same ward! Shannon is the cutest and I have always looked up to her, so I am honored that she's letting me post on her blog! Yay! First let me tell you a little about me!  I'm a weird duck. For reals though. Sometimes I'll do something and my husband looks at me the way you look at that overweight man who just bent over and needs to invest in some heavy duty suspenders to keep his pants up. My favorite things to do are feed my goats and chickens while wearing overalls that I purchased at D.I., watch Spongebob with a bowl full of Honey Bunches of Oats, do yoga that I made up myself, and paint my nails; but I don't like them painted so I just remove the polish when I'm done. See? Weird kid who's best friend is the lunch lady right here. But I do have some normal interests I swear! Like, I love to dance and sing. I love to go on walks. I love to spend time with family. Oh! And I love to write my own songs. Just call me T-Swifty.  I am blessed to have married my best buddy in the St. George Temple for time and all eternity.  We SEALED the deal on June 16th of last year  and we have been happily trying to figure out how marriage works ever since. (In case you wanted to see, here is a picture from that day!  I know you can't really see us but the temple looks so darn pretty in this one.)

  Besides being married and wearing overalls, I also have a passion for blogging. I guess not so much blogging as much as graphic design. Yup, graphic design is my jam. I love designing blogs. I seriously could spend all day doing it- in fact... I DO spend all day doing it (oh, my poor husband)! One of my favorite things to do is help others with their blogs. I know how it feels to want to blog and to want your blog to be as cute as you are but you can't figure out how to make it look the way you want it! Blogger kind of stinks in that way. I have found that it isn't very "user friendly" when it comes to design. SO- Instead of playing with templates and layout I design by using HTML. blah blah blah that's not important! What IS important is that I am doing a BLOG DESIGN GIVEAWAY!  If you want your blog to be spiffied up a bit, ENTER NOW!
