I totally haven't kept up on these now that I can talk to people in real life about what's going on! :p
I have a couple of non existent bump pictures I want to put up, but who knows when that'll actually happen. ;)
I have good news and I have bad news.
Bad news: this might be a complainer post, today is a sucky pregnant lady at work day. Seriously, I don't know how women all over the place get through work and school and taking care of families while feeling like crap. Kudos to women!
Good news: for the most part I've been starting to feel better! I feel like my energy levels are slowly coming back so I'm not just completely wiped out after an hour at work. ;) I'm also not as nauseous through the whole day- it's mostly just mornings and if I get too hungry now. (Bring on the snacks!)
Wednesday Matt and I went to the temple before it closed (and loved the session!) and I noticed a little pooch. Right now I still just feel like it's all just bloat, and I feel fat and uncomfortable (already? not good ;p) but I'll get over it I'm sure. :p But I did look a little more pregnant and it was kinda exciting.
So. The hard part from this week has been getting dizzy again! I was light headed the first little while after I found out, but it seemed to go away, and now it's right back to where it was! Which gets inconvenient when Dr. Williams calls for me to hook people up to stim or decompression. And in the pharmacy.
Also, heart burn. Luckily I rather enjoy my berry flavored tums because I'm popping them at least twice a day. (Maybe I shouldn't? Guess I'll ask at the next appointment.)
Food aversions: still here. I can choke down other flavored granola bars if it's a dire situation, but I can't even look at the fruit ones in my drawer at the office. So weird! I loved granola bars before, especially peanut butter ones, and I just can't do it anymore! I also get sick of sugary things faster but apparently I'm selective because I could drink smoothies all day. It's like the rich kind of sugars? Idk. Maybe I've been cured from my chocoholism.
Cravings? Carbs. I'm gonna have a fat baby. Let me tell you my favorite go to foods of lately. Toast, rolls, crackers, pasta, potatoes... seeing a pattern here? Good grief! I need to get more fruits and veggies and start walking. I'll be a chubster soon!
Another hard part from this week has been aching! This kid is definitely growing because I swear I can feel everything stretching. It's not like cramps, but definitely not comfortable either. Plus I've had allergies so I sneeze 24/7 (it feels like that anyway) and it hurts so bad when I do! Stupid pollen.
I also hate water lately, but I've been doing my duty and trying to chug it down all day. It just doesn't sit with me very well. Which seems weird. I mean, it's water. Oh well.
It's all worth it, right? :) I'm getting impatient for when we can find out if our tiny human is a daddy's girl or mama's boy. :) I just want to start getting things ready!
Matt's been amazing. I really just stop throughout the day and think about how much he already did for me and how much extra he's taken on since I got pregnant and turned into a lazy, nauseous sleep machine. :p He's been so good to me and helps me feel better about everything! I don't know what I'm going to do when school starts Monday, because he's got such a crazy schedule! (Welcome to widow-hood Shannon. For the semester anyway.) But I'm sure we'll get it figured out and help each other!
My brother and sister in law (Matt and Mallorie) are visiting us this weekend, so I'm sure I'll have more exciting things to tell in my next post!

You're not weird for hating water! During my sick phase I HATED water and wouldn't drink water from ANYWHERE but Pizza Hut, Maverick, or the arrowhead water bottles... seriously all the other waters tastes made me sick to my stomach!
