25 Weeks

Well. I'm a slacker (again) and don't have a bump picture for you this week either. Maybe that'll just make it seem like 'woah! she's grown!' by the time I finally do get ready and snap a picture for an update. :p Because I feel like they all are looking the same lately, but I'm feeling like he's really starting to grow faster. So. Next time I'll have a basketball belly, deal? Deal.

Cravings this week: I can't really pin down just one thing that I've absolutely been dying over... one day I made the twins take me on a pepsi run (sorry to spike your diet little guy, it just had to be done!), another day I thought potatoes sounded pretty amazing... Mostly I've just wanted lots of drinks though. He must be a thirsty little guy.

Aversions: I have not been able to do cottage cheese lately. I think it's just the texture that has weirded me out, but that's funny because peaches and cottage cheese were one of my go to snacks because it seemed to sit best and keep me full longer.
 Pregnancy is just weird.

Best part of this week: My family (minus Matt because he was hanging out with his O Chem in the library again, and I have to say I don't approve of that relationship. It seems mildly abusive. No matter how much time and effort Matt puts into his relationship with this class it just keeps turning up it's nose at him. The test scores don't seem like they reflect his commitment, which is definitely just O Chem being a selfish brat of course. :p Because he's been working his bum off for that class!)
went to the Historic Theater (aka dollar theater) on Main to see Despicable Me 2. (Guys. Go watch it, like yesterday!) First of all, I loved it even better the second time around. I think I definitely like it more than the first one! It will be purchased the first chance I get, mark my words.
Anyway. The best part of this week was how interactive Jaden was during the movie. I kid you not, he was kicking to the beat of the music! Like... every time! It was so funny to feel him go wild every time there was a loud scene. Obviously he loves the movie too. Which is why I have to buy it for him. ;)

Hardest part of this week:
part one: Itchy belly. Holy cow guys, it's gone nuts! You know how sunburns feel when they're itchy but it hurts your skin if you scratch it? Like your skin is sore? That's what this has felt like this week. He must really be stretching things out this week!
part two: Sleeping is getting harder. I swear I wake up every 30 minutes to switch to my other side. I'll catch myself laying on my back to go back to sleep but that never lasts long before I start feeling weird and give up. :p

Overall I feel pretty good, I haven't had a sick day in a loong time which is marvelous. I'm just enjoying feeling Jaden moving more and realizing how much stronger he is than when I first started feeling little flutters. :) I can't wait for March to get here! (And yet in ways it can just take its sweet time getting here because I still have some mild freak outs thinking about this whole birth thing.)
