Hunger games in real life!

Ok ok, so not really. But Matt and I did get to go watch Marissa play in Powder Puff football last night! (Which some of those girls made into a hunger games-ish situation. In my opinion. A fair amount of faceplanting went on.)
The first time the game was scheduled it poured. Which would have been ok because they're practically "rugby girls" :) but then the lightning started and even rugby girls get electrocuted sometimes so they rescheduled it.
Cheer boys... of course.

Miss is in front on the white team. She's #15!

Aaand the cheer boys dance. Oh man. :p

The pink scooter gang. :p

Monday night (the original game night) was fun anyway because we got to have FHE with my family. It's kind of weird to feel like we're the guests at the house now, but fun to see how everyone else is changing. Bri is in 5th grade this year, and she's so stinkin cute! New hair cut, cute clothes, cute flower shaped brackets with her braces :) She's a cutie batootie!

And also, Matt and I have had date nights every week but we never take pictures... so here's the one and only documentation of them:
You can see how much he loves pictures ;)

And last but definitely not least.... ('...last's the best of all the game!') Mein seester Erin visited and had a girl's night with me. She probably still doesn't fully appreciate how much I needed one that night! Mr. Coffin happens to have lots of homework to do, seeing how he's in school. Before our nice neighbors let us split the cost of their internet he went to the library to get everything done... I love my alone time, don't get me wrong. Solitude is beautiful. Except for when you're bored out of your mind and it's late at night. So. Erin saved the day. (Yay Erin!!) We made Rolo Snickerdoodles. Yum? So of course, I dragged her with me to go shopping. And we may or may not have stumbled upon some fantastic new posessions.

Phenomenal, really. :)

P.S I lied about the only one documentation... Matt and I went to the temple last weekend! Ta da. Here we are. All temple ready. :p

Anywho... Now I get to baby sit in the comfort of my own apartment so I should go baby proof everything probably. :p

  1. Its more than phenomenal. Really. Those pictures are photographic GOLD. Now then, let's get down to the nitty gritty (to be read neeeeety greeeeety) someone, who shall remain nameless, we'll call her Shannon C... no no S Coffin thought she had boring blog posts. But she was DEAD wrong. Because her post brightened the day of a crazy college gal named Marty.
