I like volleyball, Puuppies, and serving the Lord.

Well world. Here I am again in this bad little habit called, staying up too late so I can blog instead of feel lonely while Matt works. I'm seeing a pattern here. Matt thinks blogging is kind of silly (which I totally understand. It's time consuming, it occasionally stresses me out when I can't figure out how to sound cool instead of ridiculous, and it's another one of those internet addictions out there. That being said... I think we all know why I'm here. :p I'm screen addicted.)
Today was such a beautiful, warm day! This morning I babysat cute, but sicky, kids and then canned the 'going to St. George again' plan. (Matt and I were going to run away to the land of the sun today, since Tuesday ended up being so much fun!) Instead, we dropped off a redbox, washed the car (finally), and went to the pet shop...
I have a pet wishlist now.
#1 this cute puppy
(pretend it's not a terrible picture)
#2 a turtle (like the tiny kind that the little brother in that one book eats? What is that book called? Anybody?)
#3 a chinchilla (because they're SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE!)
#4 a ferret (because Shalece and I played with Mrs Dalton's ferret, Achoo, after school in 7th and 8th grade and we loved it!)

In that order. Minus the smells. I even thought a tiny snake was cute. (Which is maybe sad? I must need more human interaction or something. ;p)

That's basically all I had to say, but now I need to kill time because I'm doing laundry. I feel bad because the dryer sounds like World War 3, but when you're out of whitey tighties, and your husband points that out a couple times before he leaves for work.... you've just gotta get it done. Sadly.

Ooh, also, Matt and I went to see Lincoln in the mainstreet theater and we really liked it! You should be in a serious movie mood to watch it, but it's pretty thought provoking. Minor language. But I think I need to research President Lincoln some more now, he was quite a man! (Now I'm sad I didn't take a history class in College.)

  2. PS...Shannon we went to see Lincoln a while back and I really don't think they spoke language like that back in the early days. I really don't. He lived in totally different times. I would like to research that part of it too...... Love you...come see us....Gram...
