Relay for Life and the usual adventures

Remember how I get all whiney and flustered with work? And I think that I hate it and all that other really mature stuff? Well. I had an epiphany. I only think I hate it because I'm really awkward when it comes to sales. I genuinely believe that you can learn to do anything well if you really want to- but there is definitely truth to the statement that some people are born with it... and some people aren't. So. I guess I'd better just pick myself up and learn how to be a suave salesperson.
Aside from that random confession...
Friday night Matt, Megan and I went to walk on the Sport's Authority Relay for Life team. I was signed up for the 8-11 shift so we handed out stickers and fliers and bracelets and coupons like nobody's business! And walked and walked and giggled and walked and bought raffle tickets for a camp set (that we drooled over and still didn't win... leave it to my awesome non existent winning skills. ;) ) Anyway. I'm totally stinking at words right now so we'll stick with the pictures.
I hope this doesn't make me a horrible
person, because I promise, I think this
young man and his family were very nice
and children of God....
but really, do you see that masterpiece of
a mullet?? Matt has sneaky photo
taking skills I never even knew about!
Matt thought it'd be so great if I rode around
the track on his shoulders... I had visions of
my brains decorating the pavement. So
obviously when he started jogging with me
waving around on his shoulders, I nearly
died. :p

SA's booth
The nurses booth was stinkin adorable, right??
Saturday I had to work closing, so Matt and I slept in, and while he worked on homework I went to my mom's and stole Megan to check out a sale at Down East. I usually work mornings and they're slow and quiet and time seems to pass surprisingly fast. I will say one thing for night shifts... we all seem to be nuttier and laugh way more. That may have just been because of Heather though. There is never a dull moment with her around. :)

I feel like my blog posts are super dull these days... I don't think I know how to write anymore. :p We're always tired around here lately, because when Matt works night shifts, neither of us sleep. I guess I think it's time to party and take advantage of no one wanting to go to sleep by 9. ;)
So... sorry for the super boring blog. Someday our lives will bloom into this really exciting mess of stories to tell and you'll be so overcome with excitement you won't even know what to do with yourself. :p
