Week 20 - Halfway there!!

Does that seem really big to you? Like I can't believe Jaden is already that big. :) I guess I can though because he's turning into quite the karate master. According to my weekly update email, he's got tastebuds now, "so you better think about what you want your baby to like after he's born when you start making your lunch." ... Shoot. He's gonna be a junk food junkie for sure. ;) Oops.
It's been really strange to think that we're halfway through this pregnancy. We've been pregnant for the same amount of time that we'll have to wait now to meet this little guy. (I just realized I'm that girl... the one I used to make fun of for saying "we're pregnant" instead of "I'm pregnant". I always thought it sounded stupid but that's just kinda how it comes out now...?)
20 more weeks! Holy cow! I kind of wonder if we'll have everything ready for him in time! We've got some spare bedroom transformations to do. :p
Matt will wake up most mornings and tell me about what Jaden dream he had last night, :) I think it's cute to listen to him talk about how excited he is to hold our baby and listen to baby Jaden's little babblings. He might even be more excited than I am some days! ;) I've always thought newborns are so stinkin cute and cuddly, but I've found myself thinking I wish you could just pop out a toddler, because that's my favorite stage (I think? As of right now anyway. :p) because it's like you rediscover the world while you watch them discover everything and see things through their little imaginative eyes. :) Then I tell myself to calm down and just enjoy the stage we're at right now. Who knows, maybe when he's born I'll miss being pregnant and feeling his little flutters. And then when he is a toddler that's too busy to snuggle all the time I'll probably miss his newborn breathy snuggles. :) I'm just so excited for all of this new adventure!
Anyway. On to the update:

Cravings: Burritos/Chimmichangas. (however you spell that.) The twins said they're a little worried that Jaden is part mexican now. :p I've also really wanted fresh fruit. I'd kill for a ripe cantaloupe. I miss Summer. :p

Aversions: Granola bars. Of course.

Best part of this week: Feeling lots more kicks. :) It's fun to see when he's awake and on the move and when he's napping. :) I'm not even kidding, he has gone nuts every time I sat down to study and then yesterday when I took my PTCE. He must either really approve of pharmacy tech, or really not love boring studying. ;)

Hardest part of this week: Guys, I thought I had ligament pain before, but I think it was just a little glimpse. The more I grow the worse it gets! It's not always too bad, but every once in a while it gets pretty achy.
My back has started to decide it's not liking the extra front load very much either, and yesterday when I was trying on WAY too many pairs of maternity jeans (which, for the record, are really difficult to shimmy in and out of sometimes because you're supposed to buy them really snug since they have a lot of stretch after you wear them...) I noticed my little toes looked more like little sausages. I guess I'm just used to wearing my super supportive Asics, and not gallivanting around in flats all day.
