One more week until we're in the third trimester! (Crazy, right?)
I feel like time is going really fast, but really slow all at the same time. I guess it really just depends on the day, because sometimes I just want it to be March so we can snuggle our little man, and sometimes I think I'd really like to avoid March because this whole child birth thing sounds a little scary. On the bright side women have been having babies since the beginning of time... and we still have a human population which must be a good sign. And we have epidurals now. (Three cheers!)
I realized as I started typing this, my updates are kind of more for the previous week... oops. But it's still journaling, so I guess that's fine.
The past week has been pretty good, I only had one sick day! Hooray! I'm still feeling antsy about starting to get things ready in the spare bedroom so it can turn into the nursery! Christmas break is coming up faster than I thought it would, though, so I'll get to start working on that soon!
Best part of this week: The other morning Matt told me that during the night when I had rolled over so my belly was against his back he could feel Jaden kicking his back. :) It made me giggle thinking about him kick boxing his daddy already. :p
Hardest part of this week: Sleeping! Good grief I need seven hundred pillows but then I can't roll over once I'm all situated. :p But it hasn't been too bad yet, so I won't complain! I'm sure I'll be an insomniac at some point in this pregnancy.
Cravings: Well... besides all the homemade bread I've eaten, because there is NOTHING better than homemade bread and butter, I haven't really been dying for anything in particular this week. Just food. :)
Aversions: I can't really think of anything... so you know the drill... just granola bars. (I really hope that this is a temporary thing because I loved granola bars before and they're so convenient to carry around for a snack... maybe once Jaden gets here I'll like them again. :) *crossing fingers*)
So remember a couple of weeks ago when I said I'd make up for my total lack of bump pictures with some family pictures we had taken by Brandi Teuscher? Well... here are the bump pictures from that session. :)
(And also this one (and this one) because I just love how they turned out! I have a cute family)
And if you love them as much as I do and you're dying to see my gorgeous sisters' individual pictures... go here!
I think I want her to take some newborn pictures of Jaden. Which, when are you supposed to take them? Obviously when they're still tiny but I'd think you'd wait a few weeks? Advice?
Tomorrow Matt and I get to drive up to Salt Lake to spend Thanksgiving with Vicki and Mike. :) It's been way too long since we've seen them! The last time was in August right before we drove to Nebraska, when we told them about our new little addition to our family. :) We only got to spend one evening with them, and I was probably kind of a party poop because that was the evening that Grandpa passed away. It'll be fun to get to catch up in person! Plus it's always nice to get out of our apartment and have an 'adventure'. :)
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :)
