1 month old!

Well, as usual, I'm about to dump a bunch of pictures on here. Today marks one month since baby boy was born. One month isn't that long, but it still seems insane to me that we're already this far into the parenting game. Jaden has been more 'vocal' in the past week, which is so much fun! Sometimes we just sit on the couch and he tells us stories. :p I love his little voice, it makes me excited for when he's starting to say words. Pretty sure my heart is going to just explode, or melt... or both. The past week he's also been more fussy, our guess is some serious gas bubbles. But even his 'fussy' mode is probably super mild comparatively so we'll take it. We got some little gas relief drops, and that's seemed to help. Evenings are the hardest, but he's still such a sweet baby.  He likes his baths, and we've been able to do a couple 'real' baths finally, now that his little belly button is all healed. He doesn't seem to mind hanging out naked, and we haven't had any horrible bath tub+ bathroom stories yet so we love bath time too! ;) He's getting really strong already! He loves to hold his head up, which is only bad if we're trying to burp him against our shoulder and he's trying to fling his head around. :p Funny boy.During tummy time he'll get trying to move his head around while he's holding it up, and consequently he tips over. So it almost looks like he's rolling over, but I'm pretty sure it's still just on accident. ;) The other funny part about tummy time is that he's sort of top heavy. He'll be doing so great holding his head up, and then his little legs lift off the ground and he tips forward. Haha, poor boy, eventually it'll all balance out!  He loves his pacifier, and snuggles, and is eating like a champ! (We're mostly done with the 'feeding frenzies' thank heavens. That was getting frustrating and messy.)  Anywho... here goes the picture dump! Happy one month to Jaden!

Talking with Grandpa Heap about riding horses and seeing the cows... probably four-wheelers too. ;)

He likes the swing much better now than the first time we tried it out. :p

He does this one eyed thing all the time. It's like he can't decide if it's worth it to wake up all the way or not. :p

I can't believe how blessed I am to have two of the best boys in the world for my family. :) I absolutely love being Jaden's mom, and even though I feel like I don't really know what I'm doing all the time, I've never felt more self assured with what I'm spending my time doing. :) I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father lets us be part of raising these incredible, and special little spirits. :)
