Eight Months!

Well guys, today my baby turned eight months old. He's growing and changing so much every day, sometimes I get little glimpses of a big kid in that gummy grin. :) We love this kid more than anything in life.
He's got two whole teeth (finally! It's been a long time coming.) He stands by himself for a handful of seconds at a time, he shuffles along all the furniture and stands up next to literally EVERYTHING. I've had several close calls of being pants-ed by that little bugger. ;)
He talks ALL day long, he can say 'mama' (maybe I shouldn't tell you that he can say 'bum' too...) and he blows raspberries in between all the long conversations he has. He's started saying 'yaya' all the time, and then gets the most pleased look on his face. It's so much fun to watch him figure new things out.  Jaden has found a serious dose of independence. There are so many times that he refuses to eat anything... until I let him do it himself. Bonus points for letting him use a fork. He's such a funny boy with eating. He loves all fruit, and just about every vegetable we've tried. He snubs squash like it's his job, but I'm sure that will pass like the carrots did. He's not a fan of the baby food meats, but I mean can you blame him? He also loves brushing his teeth. 

He loves to play with my hair... sometimes always that includes eating it.

The other afternoon, it was too beautiful of a day to spend lunch time inside. We took a blanket and some green beans to the shade under the tree. Along with his beans, Jaden had a nice side of leaves and rocks. Probably bugs. It was such a nice day with my buddy! He keeps me busy, and wears the both of us out by the end of the day.

I will never get over how much I love this little face!

It has been the most wonderful, most insane, and definitely the fastest 8 months of my life. :) I'm so glad I get to be this happy little boy's mom. (P.S I have four months before my baby is a one year old. Holy. Crap.) (Cue planning an awesome book worm themed first birthday!)
