Run away to Cedar!!

I never remember to blog anymore. Instagram has ruined my journaling and my blogging skills. Thank heavens for chatbooks.  Last week Jaden and I got to hitch a ride to Cedar with Aunt Cherene and Grammie Marilyn. We've become good traveling buddies this summer, and I've been so thankful that Aunt Cherene has been willing to tow us around with them. :) We had been planning on going to Southern Utah on the 24th for Grandpa Barton's 80th birthday party, but when it looked like Matt wouldn't be able to get work off we decided to make a week out of a weekend! We got into town Friday afternoon, and Jaden got right to work exploring everything. :)  He spent so much time that week in the yard making sure that everything was properly watered. ;)  That and antagonizing the cat and dog. 
I really needed all that family time! I had so much fun catching up with my sisters on drives around town, seeing Erin at the soda fountain in Bullochs, and going for walks at the track. 
Marissa, Brianne and I got up early to watch the sunrise, and we were going to climb on top of the box on the Cedar High bleachers, but there were cross country kids there and it seemed kind of creeper to sit above them watching. :p Bri was bummed, but it was still really pretty and fun! 
Matt met us for the birthday party in Tropic, which I was also grateful for. We missed him while we were away! Poor dad always misses out on things because of school or work.  Grandpa's party was so cute, probably because he is! ;) It was so good to visit with everyone and catch up.
