Cream Cheese Frosting

Whether you're making cinnamon rolls, sugar cookies, bunt cake, or any other frosting-related dessert, you need to know about cream cheese frosting.
It. Is. Life. ;)
At least it is if you're obsessed with cream cheese like I am.
You can tweak the recipe to suit whatever it is you're making. Add some Karo syrup to make it more runny to drizzle over waffles, or bunt cakes.
Add more powdered sugar to make it more stiff for sugar cookies or cinnamon rolls.
Add a spoon if you're just in the mood to devour a bowl of frosting.

This has been my favorite frosting recipe that my mom has made, ever. (Well. Maybe the German Chocolate frosting is a close tie...)

Cream Cheese Frosting

4 oz. unsalted butter, softened (margarine will work too)
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract.

Cream together butter, cream cheese, and vanilla. Add powdered sugar a little at a time and blend well.

Ta da! See how easy this is? So worth it. Go buy cream cheese. Go. ;)
